WHAT: Countywide Recycling and Disposal Facility to host R/C Eagles Fly-In

DETAILS:        As part of its ongoing community commitment, the Countywide Recycling and Disposal Facility is partnering with the R/C Eagles Model Airplane Club of Massillon for its 10th annual homecoming fly-in. The fly-in, which is taking place Sunday, July 13th, from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., will be held at the R/C Eagles Flying Field located at the Countywide Recycling and Disposal Facility just north of Bolivar.

 

“Countywide is proud to partner with a great local club like the R/C Eagles. We congratulate the Eagles on their 10th annual fly-in and we look forward to our volunteers helping with the event,” said Countywide Recycling and Disposal Facility General Manager Tim Vandersall.

 

Countywide is donating $200 and raffle prices to the R/C Eagles for the fly-in. Additionally, Countywide employees will volunteer at an informational booth as part of an effort to educate the public about the landfill.

 

The Countywide Recycling and Disposal Facility is an 818 acre landfill located just north of Bolivar in Stark County. Owned and operated by Republic Waste Services, Countywide serves 26 Northeast Ohio counties including Stark, Wayne, Summit, and Tuscarawas Counties.
